Other negro baseball leagues in 1948:
NAL

1948 NNL Season

League Note
Baltimore won the first half, Washington won the second half, and met in the playoffs. The NNL and the NAL faced each other in the Negro World Series at the end of the season to determine an overall champion. After MLB integration, the NNL folded and its surviving teams merged into the Negro American League as barnstorming squads, and negro league baseball effectively came to an end.
