Ennis Whatley is a former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and other leagues. He was born on August 11, 1962, in Birmingham, Alabama, and attended Phillips High School in Birmingham. He played college basketball at the University of Alabama, where he was a standout player and helped lead the team to the NCAA Tournament
