The NFL awarded 39 compensatory picks in the 2022 NFL draft to a total of 16 teams on Tuesday, but the New York Giants were not among them. - As expected, the Giants were blanked in the compensatory formula. They also failed to trade cornerback James Bradberry by the official start to the new league year, meaning no additional picks were acquire. Yet. - The Bradberry situation remains fluid and is subject to change, so additional assets could still be had later on down the road. But for now, the Giants’ nine picks have been made official and the positions set in stone. - - Round 1 (No. 5 overall) - Round 1 (No. 7 overall) - Round 2 (No. 36 overall) - Round 3 (No. 67 overall) - Round 3 (No. 81 overall) - Round 4 (No. 112 overall) - Round 5 (No. 147 overall) - Round 5 (No. 173 overall) - Round 6 (No. 182 overall) - - The five top 100 picks give the Giants and general manager Joe Schoen a ton of maneuverability. They could stay in place and use all five or they could use them to either trade up and down in the order. Whatever the case may be, the options are plentiful early on. - After Round 4 however, things fall off for the Giants. They have no seventh-round picks, their sixth-round pick comes late and even their second fifth-round pick is of mild value. - - List - - New York Giants' 2022 free agency scorecard - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Giants Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Giants Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
