The New York Giants continued tinkering with the back-end of their roster on Friday night, agreeing to terms with offensive lineman Jamil Douglas. - The 30-year-old Douglas was a fourth-round pick of the Dolphins in the 2015 NFL draft. He spent the first two seasons of his career in Miami before making stops with the New England Patriots (2016-2017), Atlanta Falcons (2017), Indianapolis Colts (2018) and Tennessee Titans (2018-2020). - In 2021, the Cypress, California native split time between the Buffalo Bills and Washington Commanders. - General manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll obviously know some of what they’re getting in Douglas after his cup of coffee in Western New York. - Douglas has appeared in 50 games throughout his career, including 11 starts. He’s taken most of his snaps at right guard, but has also played left guard and center. - Douglas earned a 60.0 Pro Football Focus grade last season (two snaps) and a 37.6 overall grade the year prior (95 snaps), including a pass protection grade of just 7.9. - - List - - New York Giants' 2022 free agency scorecard - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Giants Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Giants Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
