The Baltimore Ravens will look to the 2022 NFL draft as a key avenue of adding talent ahead of next year. They are currently slated to have 10 draft picks, which is plenty of ammunition for Baltimore general manager Eric DeCosta to move up and down the draft board to his liking in order to get the players that he covets. - In his latest 2022 NFL mock draft, Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports simulated the entire first round and selected players who he thought would be great fits for each team. For the Ravens at pick No. 14 he reinforced the defensive line as he grabbed Travon Walker out of the University of Georgia. Wilson talked about how Walker’s versatility and playmaking would fit right in for several teams around the range where Baltimore is picking in the first round. - “Walker is something of a tweener, which is odd to say about someone who stands 6-foot-5, and weighs 275 pounds. But he can line up as a 3, 4 or 5-tech and that versatility, coupled with his nonstop motor and consistent playmaking ability, makes him an attractive option for several teams in this range looking to bolster their defensive line.” - Walker accumulated 61 total tackles and 9.5 sacks during his three years with the Bulldogs, showing massive growth and improvement. It seems fairly likely that the Ravens could undergo a bit of a personnel shift on their defensive line, and Walker would be a great new addition up front. - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Ravens Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Ravens Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
