The Baltimore Ravens currently have 10 draft picks in the 2022 draft, including nine in the first four rounds. That gives them plenty of ammunition to move around the draft board as they look for the next batch of players to suit up in purple and black. - In his latest 2022 mock draft, Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network laid out his predictions for the entire first round. At pick No. 14, Crabbs selected cornerback Derek Stingley out of LSU for Baltimore, citing how much value the Ravens would be getting if he’s still on the board when they pick, something that the team is known for. - “Gee whiz. Baltimore strikes again with a “best player available” situation and lands one of the most physically talented cornerbacks in the draft? That *never* happens! (It happens seemingly at least twice a year). This is a home run value for the Ravens.” - Stingley had a phenomenal 2019 season on the National Championship-winning Tigers team, but has struggled to stay on the field over the last two seasons. He also didn’t participate in the on-field portion of the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine due his recovery from a foot injury. He’s one of the best players available in the 2022 class, and if he somehow slips to Baltimore at No. 14, the team would add another star to an already star-studded secondary that includes Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters. - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Ravens Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Ravens Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
