The Baltimore Ravens currently hold the No. 14 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. It is one of the highest selections that the team has ever had over the course of their franchise history, and they’ll have an opportunity to draft an excellent prospect with the selection, assuming they keep it. - Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN released his latest 2022 mock draft, which featured picks and analysis for every selection of the first round. For Baltimore, he gave them some offensive line help by picking University of Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum. Kiper explained that after letting Bradley Bozeman walk in free agency, in his eyes they don’t have a replacement who is currently on the roster. - “The Ravens would likely be thrilled with this scenario. They just let Bradley Bozeman, who started at center in 2021 and left guard in 2019 and 2020, walk in free agency, and they don’t have a replacement on the roster. Linderbaum would be an improvement, not just an instant replacement. As I’ve said a couple times, he’s one of the best center prospects of the past decade.” - As Kiper mentions, Linderbaum is widely regarded as one of the best center prospects in recent memory. He will almost undoubtedly be the first at his position taken off of the board, and with an obvious need at center it could be the Ravens who select him. - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Ravens Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Ravens Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
