The Baltimore Ravens showed that they weren’t going to sit and watch other teams make moves over the first few days of 2022 free agency, as they signed safety Marcus Williams, offensive tackle Morgan Moses and defensive tackle Michael Pierce. While they haven’t been as active over the last few days, they’ve reportedly hosted a number of players for visits, including now a six-time All-Pro. - On Friday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reported that Baltimore had former Seattle Seahawks inside linebacker Bobby Wagner in for a visit, and have high interest in the veteran. Wagner represents one of the best free agents still available on the market, and would fit in seamlessly on the Ravens’ defense. - - All-Pro free agent linebacker Bobby Wagner visited the Baltimore Ravens today, per source. Ravens have high interest in Wagner, who also visited the Rams this week. - — Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) March 25, 2022 - - - As a member of the Seahawks, Wagner posted 1,383 tackles, 23.5 sacks, 11 interceptions and six forced fumbles across 10 seasons. He is an extremely smart football player, and plays with tenacity and a will to win. If Baltimore wants the Pro Bowler to suit up at M&T Bank Stadium in 2022 they will have to fend off other teams, as was evidenced by Wagner’s visit with the Los Angeles Rams earlier in the week. - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Ravens Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Ravens Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
