The Baltimore Ravens ended their 2021 season at 8-9 and out of the playoffs after starting out with an 8-3 record, which led the AFC through 12 weeks. Baltimore went on a six-game loss streak that was the result of many close losses, and the team couldn’t get the job done when it mattered. Even though the year turned out disappointing for the Ravens, there were still many positives to take away, including the play of wide receiver Marquise Brown. When the third-year wide receiver was asked about what he wants to focus on improving in the offseason, Brown talked about a lot of different things. “I think everything. I want to get even bigger, stronger, faster. And just keep working on my route running. We’re getting moved around with the offense. [I want to] work on my routes from the inside, work on my routes from the outside, work on contested catches, and just really everything that I possibly can get better at by the time September comes back around.” Brown finished 2021 with 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns. While drops were an issue for the wideout at times, he still was able to become the first Baltimore wide receiver to accumulate at least 1,000 receiving yards in a single season since Mike Wallace in 2016. Brown clearly wants to get better in the offseason, and with his work ethic and motivation to be great, he can do just that. Email Sign up Like this article?
