Adam, Josh and Mike start by overreacting to game one of the summer league. They give their takes on Yam Madar, Carsen Edwards, Romeo Langford, Aaron Nesmith, Payton Pritchard Juhann Begarin and Sam Hauser. Is Yam already better than Carsen Edwards? Does Josh still think Romeo Langford can be an all star? Should we be happy with Aaron Nesmith? Should Pritchard be running the offense more effectively? Is Juhann Begarin a future NBA player? Can Sam Hauser defend anybody? - Then the guys vent about the offseason. Mike is happy because the team did what he thought they should but Josh and Adam have gripes about ownership's willingness to spend into the luxury tax and a strategy that has led this team to get worse each of the last 2-3 offseasons. - Discussion shifts to Marcus Smart's rumored extension offer and what that means for the proposed cap flexibility for 2022-23 that the front office is using as justification for not re-signing Evan Fournier. Josh poses the problematic question, "who do you want to be the team's third leading scorer next year" which is deeply concerning no matter the answer. Finally, the PRIDE Pod discusses Dennis Schroeder's fit on this team based on the rumored mutual interest. - Remember to rate, review, and subscribe to the Celticsblog podcast feed (we're “Celtics PRIDE”) and follow us on Twitter @celticspridepod, a @celticsblog podcast.  - Hosts: Adam Motenko, Josh Motenko @coachmotenko and Adam Spinella @spinella14.   - Email: at [email protected] - You can find regular episodes of the CelitcsPod and Celtics PRIDE podcasts on Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever else you listen to your podcasts. - Learn more about your ad choices.
