On this episode of Celtics PRIDE, Adam Motenko stays neutral, Mike Minkoff shares nerdy stats about how poor the Celtics offense is compared to the rest of the league and Coach Josh Motenko tries to provide big picture perspective to the mentality that many Celtics fans feel these days - that the sky is falling.   Josh coins the new psychological disorder, the Sky Is Falling Anxiety Syndrome (SIFAS).  If you’re having any of the following belief symptoms, you may have SIFAS.  1. The worst case scenario is happening before our eyes.  2. The coach isn't being listened to anymore.  3. The stars will leave us because that's how the NBA works.  4. Fire someone, quick!  5. Trade someone!  6. I'm jumping off the Tobin Bridge.   - - Coach Josh then outlines the many reasons why the sky is actually not falling, from what the standings are telling us about so many middling teams across the league, to variance of point differentials being historically high this year for NBA teams - including the Celtics - to the impact of COVID on both team success and fan experience. - - The crew then comes up with some solutions.  Listen to how they would fix things at this juncture.  The Celtics PRIDE team wants to remind you not to panic because Marcus Smart will be back soon, and we will be seeing a very different outcome. - - Remember to rate, review, and subscribe to the Celticsblog podcast feed (we're “Celtics PRIDE”) and follow us on Twitter @celticspridepod, a @celticsblog podcast.  - Hosts: Adam Motenko, Josh Motenko @coachmotenko and Mike Minkoff @mikeminkoffnba.   - Email: at [email protected] - - You can find regular episodes of the CelitcsPod and Celtics PRIDE podcasts on Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever else you listen to your podcasts.  - Learn more about your ad choices.
