Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has already had two interviews with the New York Giants regarding their vacant head-coaching position. - It’s now expected he’ll have another team fall into that same category: The Miami Dolphins. - According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Daboll is one of three candidates expected to have a second chat in Miami next week. - That comes after another report involving the OC and South Beach a few days ago. - While Daboll is still in the running for the Giants job, especially with New York hiring former Bills assistant general manager Joe Schoen as their GM, a Dolphins suggestion surfaced. According to a report, Daboll was called “the favorite” to land the Dolphins gig even before the second interview in Miami was mentioned. - In addition to Daboll interviewing for a second time, two others will evidently be doing so. Reportedly San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Mike McDaniel and Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore will also be talking to the Dolphins again. - It was expected that Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn was near the top of the list for both Miami and New York’s opening, but that came to an end. On Thursday, Quinn told teams he wants to remain in his current job in Dallas and pulled out of consideration. - If Daboll were to leave, the Giants would be the team Buffalo would prefer he picks considering the Dolphins are an AFC East rival of the Bills. Along with the Schoen connection, hopefully that has a better chance of happening simply because of timing as New York could offer the job as early as this upcoming weekend. - Time will tell if Daboll ends up departing for a new club. - Stay tuned to Bills Wire throughout the winter as we will provide all updates regarding Buffalo assistants and front-office members that are connected to other NFL teams. - - Follow the Bills Wire Podcast: - Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Google Podcasts - - - RelatedThe Bills' top-five grades from PFF against the ChiefsEven Chiefs' head coach Andy Reid still approves change to OT rulesBills defense tries to find positives in letdown vs. Chiefs - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Bills Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Bills Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
