Former Carolina Panthers Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen nearly signed with the Buffalo Bills ahead of the 2020 NFL season. - That came just before Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a breakout season. - Hindsight is 20/20, but it sounds like the now-retired Olsen is having some regrets even though he says he isn’t. Via Barstool Sports, Olsen reflected back on his 2020 decision - Instead of joining the Bills, Olsen signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He said part of the reason was to play with quarterback Russell Wilson. - For the same quarterback-related reasons, Olsen admit he has asked himself “what if” questions… namely, what if he signed with the Bills instead and played with Allen instead? - “When I chose to go to Seattle to play with Russell, obviously because of how good he is, I look back now when I made that decision of just how good Josh Allen now two years after that decision and I think all the time what could have been in Buffalo,” Olsen said. - Check out the full clip below: - - Josh Allen is going to attract a lot of talented players in free agency in this next decade. - Here is Greg Olsen second guessing his decision choosing Seattle over Buffalo in 2019 (via @DavePortnoyShow): pic.twitter.com/J5W1ohh3zq - — William Fredrick Cody (@BuffaloBilICody) January 26, 2022 - - - - RelatedReport: Bills to interview Ravens' Tee Martin for offensive coordinator jobChiefs' Tyreek Hill fined for actions against BillsBills QB Josh Allen declines 2022 Pro Bowl invite - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Bills Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Bills Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
