The Buffalo Bills reportedly have a second candidate for their vacant offensive coordinator position. - According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, the Bills will speak to Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver coach Edgar Bennett about the job. - Bennett, 52, played in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers. The former running back would bring a Super Bowl-winning mentality to Buffalo if hired, having won a title once as a player and once as a coach, both with the Pack. - His coaching career began in 2005 in Green Bay and ended there in 2017. Bennett’s final job with the Packers was as their offensive coordinator from 2015 to 2017. - After the season, Bennett moved onto the Las Vegas Raiders where he has been their receivers coach since 2018. - On Monday, the Raiders just announced the hiring of former New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels as their head coach. Considering that, Bennett is likely to be in search of a new job as it’s likely McDaniels will bring in his own staff in due time. - In addition to Bennett, the Bills reportedly will also interview Baltimore Ravens wide receiver coach Tee Martin for their OC position. - The Bills job was left vacant by Brian Daboll, who was hired as the New York Giants’ head coach last week. - Despite those two reported interviews, Buffalo’s current quarterbacks coach Ken Dorsey still appears to be the favorite to land the offensive coordinator job. Bills quarterback Josh Allen endorsed Dorsey for the OC spot last week. - Stay tuned to Bills Wire throughout the winter as we will provide all updates regarding Buffalo assistants and front-office members that are connected to other NFL teams. - - RelatedReport: Bills to interview Ravens' Tee Martin for offensive coordinator jobChiefs' Tyreek Hill fined for actions against BillsBills QB Josh Allen declines 2022 Pro Bowl invite - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Bills Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Bills Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
