It’s time for the next generation of quarterbacks to take the torch from the recently retired group of Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, and Philip Rivers. - But Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, he’s still skeptical that one of those is actually retired for good he recently said on the AP Pro Football Podcast. - “I think it’s something that I’ve always wanted since a kid. The only thing I’ve ever wanted to do was play quarterback in the NFL. It’s rewarding in a sense to be talked about like that,” Allen said. “All I care about is winning football games no matter how I do it.” - “And I’ll believe the Tom Brady retirement when he’s not playing next year, the jury is still out,” Allen added. - Brady says he’s done with the football chapter of his life but it’s tough to believe when he looks younger today than his rookie season. - Allen and the Bills lost their final game against Brady who had more wins against Buffalo than any other team. - But, at least Brady didn’t win another Super Bowl in 2021. - Allen has already entrenched himself as a top-three quarterback in the league. If he has half the success of Brady, Allen will see his name next to Brady’s in the Hall of Fame. - You can check out this segment from Allen’s appearance on the podcast below: - - With @TomBrady, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees & Philip Rivers now retired, @BuffaloBills QB Josh Allen is ready to lead the next generation of superstar QBs.
