The Buffalo Bills have one of the league’s best quarterback-wide receiver tandems in Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. - Diggs, since his acquisition by the Bills two years ago, has exceeded the lofty expectations set for him during his tenure in Buffalo. Diggs once again led the Bills in receiving, reeling in 2021 with 103 receptions for 1,225 receiving yards. The 2021 Pro Bowl participant added a career-best 10 touchdown reception to his accomplishments this season. - Buffalo got another strong season out of one of the league’s best slot receivers, Cole Beasley. He was second on the team with 82 receptions, tied for his career-high. In addition, he totaled 693 receiving yards and one touchdown reception. - The Bills had adequate production from additional receiving options as well. Emmanuel Sanders played fairly well even though he didn’t put up the numbers he was expected to achieve when Buffalo signed him to a free agent contract ahead of the season. - Sanders’ 42 receptions were his lowest total since 2012. He added 626 receiving yards and four touchdowns. However, he didn’t seem to be a major part of the game plan, which limited his production. - Gabriel Davis continued to shine when called upon. Of Davis’s 35 receptions, six found the end zone. - Davis exploded in the playoffs against Kansas City, catching eight passes for 201 receiving yards and a NFL postseason record four touchdown receptions. Davis has put himself squarely in contention for the No.2 receiving role next year. - Isaiah McKenzie’s versatility made him a valuable asset for the Bills. McKenzie returned kicks, ran jet sweeps, and filled in for Beasley in the slot when called upon. - Jake Kumerow and Marquez Stevenson contributed mostly on special teams. Kumerow covered kicks, while Stevenson returned kicks in five games. - Here’s an offseason rundown for the Bills regarding the wide receiver position:
