- - - Wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie got awful close to the free agency market. - Instead of testing the waters and seeing what’s out there when the “tampering period” opened on Monday, he re-signed with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. - McKenzie, 26, kept it pretty simple as to why he ended up back in Buffalo. That’s what he felt was right for him in the end. - “I really wanted to be here,” McKenzie said. “It didn’t take much for me to be back. I really like being here. I really like being on this team.” - In addition, there was another layer for the receiver and return man: Loyalty. - McKenzie said he gets that from the Bills. He wanted to give it right back by not playing hard ball and coming back. - Check out McKenzie discussing that via WIVB-TV below: - - "For me it's about loyalty and the Buffalo Bills have been loyal to me and I want to stay loyal to them. We have a lot of great things going on here." @_IsaiahMcKenzie on why he didn't want to test free agency as he signs a two-year deal with the #Bills this time around. pic.twitter.com/BoM6mAuwYy - — Heather Prusak (@haprusak) March 14, 2022 - - - - RelatedOfficial: Bills bring back Jordan Phillips via one-year dealShaq Lawson returns to Bills, signs one-year dealCole Beasley saga in Buffalo is over: Bills to release the receiver - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Bills Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Bills Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
