Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was very good against the New England Patriots. Even Pro Football Focus backs that. - According to the football analytics outlet, in Buffalo’s 47-17 win in the wild-card round, Allen earned a grade of 94.8 overall. - That number edged out every other quarterback’s performance over the first round of the postseason… but not only that. - It was the best QB grade PFF handed out this entire year. - In the outing, Allen was efficient as they come. He was 21-for-25 passing and made it count. Allen had five touchdown passes and earned 308 yards on those throws. - In addition, Allen ran the ball for 66 yards on six carries. - By comparison, there was a clean gap from the rest of the quarterbacks on wild-card weekend alone. - Per PFF’s grades, the next closest marks were handed to Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford and Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow. Those two earned grades of 90.3 and 89.7, respectively: - - Highest-graded QBs in Wild Card Weekend pic.twitter.com/IG8ExMUYr3 - — PFF (@PFF) January 18, 2022 - - - If Allen continues this pace throughout the postseason, it will be hard for anyone to keep up with the Bills… even the Kansas City Chiefs who Buffalo faces in the upcoming divisional round. - - RelatedReport: Bills' Joe Schoen named among 'strongest candidates' for Giants' GM jobJosh Allen shares handshake moment with Mac Jones after Bills-Patriots (video)Amidst historic night, Bills become first team in NFL history with rare feat - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Bills Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Bills Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
