In recognition of National Suicide Prevention Month and World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10, Giants Mental Health Advocate Drew Robinson came to Wrigley Field to speak with Cubs season ticket holder Jerry Howe, whose family has been impacted by suicide. - - A former MLB player who survived a suicide attempt in 2020, the Cubs were honored to host Drew and have him throw a ceremonial first pitch the same day. - - "I never would've thought, getting into this, that I would've healed so much just by sharing my story openly. I thought I was initially doing it just to help other people, but I didn't realize how much it was going to help myself, too.
