The Denver Broncos will look for late-round draft gems at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Saturday evening. Here are five prospects the team should keep an eye on. - - USC RT Jalen McKenzie: Even if Denver re-signs Bobby Massie this offseason, the team will likely add a long-term offensive tackle prospect this offseason. McKenzie could be a target to keep an eye on. - Florida A&M DB Markquese Ball: With Kareem Jackson scheduled to become a free agent in March, the Broncos will likely bring in at least one safety this offseason. Caden Sterns is a strong in-house candidate to replace Jackson, but the team will need depth behind him. Ball totaled 95 tackles, two sacks and one interception last season. - Missouri DL Akial Byers: Denver has three quality starters on the defensive line, but the team could use more depth. Byers (6-3, 289 pounds) could be a defensive end candidate for the Broncos to consider. - Oklahoma State LB Malcolm Rodriguez: A former safety who converted to linebacker, Rodgriquez could potentially help Denver in passing situations. The Broncos have three in-house free agent linebackers and at least one of them will presumably be re-signed, but Denver will need to add some additional depth this offseason. - Rutgers LB Tyreek Maddox-Williams: Another linebacker to watch is Williams, who impressed at practice this week. Maddox-Williams is a player to keep an eye on in passing situations to see how he might transition to that role in the NFL. - - Saturday’s game will air on NFL Network at 6 p.m. ET. - - List - - Broncos offseason: 10 prop bets for free agency, draft - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Broncos Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Broncos Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
