When the Senior Bowl kickoffs of practice on Tuesday, Denver Broncos general manager George Paton is expected to be in attendance. - “That’s the plan. Definitely,” Paton said last Friday when asked if he will be in Mobile, Alabama for college football’s all-star game this week. - Paton did not attend the Senior Bowl last year but he did send nine scouts to the game. Four players caught the attention of Denver’s staff at last year’s Senior Bowl: linebackers Baron Browning and Jonathon Cooper, offensive lineman Quinn Meinerz and punter Max Duffy. - Paton will be looking to find more talent this week. - “It’s the first time I’ve probably seen a lot of these players live and you just like to see how they compete against the best,” Paton said last week. “When you go to a regular college game, sometimes they stick out. They’re not competing against the best. - “[At] the Senior Bowl you can really see them compete against the best, how they work, how they grind and are they coachable. Then you can interview them at night so it’s really beneficial. Definitely planning to get down there.” - The Senior Bowl will air live on NFL Network on Saturday, Feb. 5. - - Gallery - 3 future Broncos played in 2020 Senior Bowl - - - - - - view 11 images - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Broncos Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Broncos Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
