Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL on Tuesday. - Brady’s final game was a 30-27 loss to Von Miller and the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs last month. - Miller forced a strip-sack in that game, bringing his career total against Brady to 8.5 sacks in nine games (including 3.5 sacks in three playoff games). - The former Denver Broncos outside linebacker has since advanced to Super Bowl LVI, where he will face the Cincinnati Bengals. - Overall, Brady went 9-9 against the Broncos in his career. He had an 8-6 edge against Denver in the regular season, but he struggled against the Broncos in the playoffs, going 1-3 in the postseason. - Miller and Co. defeated Brady twice in AFC championship games and his lone playoff win against Denver came in 2011 when Tim Tebow was the team’s quarterback. While playing for the Broncos, former quarterback Peyton Manning went 2-0 against Brady in the playoffs. - It seems safe to say Denver — and Miller — were Brady’s kryptonite. - - Gallery - 25 photos of Von Miller facing Tom Brady over the years - - - - - - view 25 images - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Broncos Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Broncos Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
