The Denver Broncos met with Wyoming linebacker Chad Muma at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama last week. - Muma (6-3, 242 pounds), a Colorado native, said during his media availability on Wednesday that he “would love to play for his hometown team,” according to Aric DiLalla of DenverBroncos.com. - Muma totaled 266 tackles — including 19 tackles for losses — 5.5 sacks, three interceptions, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, two defensive touchdowns and one forced fumble in four years (33 games) with college football’s Cowboys. He is considered a three-down linebacker prospect. - With Alexander Johnson, Josey Jewell and Kenny Young all scheduled to become free agents, inside linebacker could be among Denver’s biggest positions of need this offseason, depending on which players are re-signed during NFL free agency. - The Broncos currently have 11 picks to use in the draft this year, including ninth overall and five selections in the first three rounds.
