The Denver Broncos probably won’t receive many (if any) on-field awards at the “NFL Honors” awards show on Thursday evening, but one of the team’s players will be recognized with an off-field award. - Broncos fullback/tight end Andrew Beck has been named the winner of the 2022 Salute to Service Award, the NFL and USAA announced Wednesday. - “To win this award means so much to me. Working with the military and giving back to them is something I’m passionate about,” Beck said in a statement. “I grew up in a military family, so I know the things that they go through. My dad is such a big role model to me. This will be a memory I cherish for the rest of my life.” - Beck’s father, Chris, is a Brigadier General in the U.S. Army.
