Many Denver Broncos fans are hoping the team will acquire either Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson this offseason. - If the Broncos don’t land a big-name veteran QB, though, Denver might turn to the NFL draft to look for a long-term candidate. If the Broncos are in the market for a QB in April, these will be the names to know. - Draft Wire’s Luke Easterling recently published his updated QB rankings following the Senior Bowl, and Liberty’s Malik Willis is now No. 1. The QB has “rare arm talent” and “impressive athleticism.” - “He’s not a polished or complete prospect, but neither is any other passer in this class,” Easterling wrote on Draft Wire. - Easterling believes Willis has the most upside in this year’s class. - After Willis, Easterling has Pitt’s Kenny Pickett (No. 2), Mississippi’s Matt Corral (No. 3), Cincinnati’s Desmond Ridder (No. 4), North Carolina’s Sam Howell (No. 5) and Nevada’s Carson Strong (No. 6) as the five next-best options. - Denver has 11 picks to use in April’s draft, including ninth overall in the first round.
