The Denver Broncos had a “productive and long” meeting with Miami wide receiver Mike Harley Jr. at the Hula Bowl in Orlando, Florida last month, according to a report from The Draft Network’s Justin Melo. - Harley (5-11, 182 pounds) caught 182 passes for 2,158 yards and 15 touchdowns in five seasons (50 games) with the Hurricanes. He set the school’s record for the most career receptions as a fifth-year senior in 2021. - Harley totaled 57 receptions for 543 yards and scored one touchdown last season. He also has experience as a returner, returning 10 kicks for 213 yards in 2020. - The Broncos have three excellent receivers in Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick, but — though it might seem hard to believe — the team could use some more depth at receiver. - Harley won’t be an early-round target for Denver. The Broncos might consider him in the late rounds of April’s draft, or possibly even as an undrafted free agent. He’s merely a name to know at this point. - Follow the Broncos Wire Podcast: - Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Google Podcasts - - - List - - 30 best draft prospects at Broncos' biggest positions of need - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Broncos Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Broncos Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
