Behdad Eghbali, Jose Feliciano and Kwanza Jones are “weighing a bid” for the Denver Broncos, according to a report from Gillian Tan and Heather Perlberg of Bloomberg (subscription required for link). - Eghbali (45) and Feliciano (48) co-founded Clearlake Capital together in 2006; Feliciano and Jones are married. Jones is a singer, investor and philanthropist. - Eghbali and Feliciano are worth a combined $6.8 billion, according to estimates from Forbes. Jones’ net worth is unclear. The Broncos are expected to be sold for more than $4 billion. - The trio previously tried to buy part of the Washington Commanders. - Their California-based private equity firm “oversees $43 billion and has scored some of the industry’s best returns,” according to Forbes. - NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has said the league would like to see diverse ownership acquire the team.
