Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will make a decision on his future “within the next week or so,” ESPN’s Dianna Russini said during an interview on the Rich Eisen Show on Thursday. - Rodgers options are (1) remain in Green Bay, (2) ask for a trade or (3) retire. Russini tweeted Thursday that multiple teams have “offers on the table” for the 38-year-old quarterback. - Russini also told Eisen that Rodgers wants to be the highest-paid player in the NFL “by a wide margin,” somewhere in the range of $50 million per season. Russini indicated that the teams interested in trading for Rodgers are prepared to make cap space available for him. - If the quarterback asks for a trade and the Packers have no choice but to grant it, the Denver Broncos could be a team to watch. - The Broncos showed interest in Rodgers last offseason, but Green Bay would not engage in trade talks in 2021. If the Packers are forced into a trade by the QB this offseason, Denver will likely be among his suitors. - Follow the Broncos Wire Podcast: - Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Google Podcasts - - - List - - 30 best draft prospects at Broncos' biggest positions of need - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Broncos Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Broncos Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
