Former Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson is quickly moving up the coaching ranks in retirement. - Anderson retired from the NFL in 2020 and he got his start coaching as a volunteer assitant at the University of California — his alma mater — shortly thereafter. After one season at Cal, he accepted a head coach position at Monte Vista High School in Danville, California, his home state. - Anderson coached at the high school level for one season before getting another promotion, joining Rice’s coaching staff earlier this year. Anderson is now the full-time running backs coach for the Owls. - The former running back has utilized social media to scout high school prospects. - - I forgot to post this. He went on to reach two Super Bowls with Denver (winning one of them), and he earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2014.
