The Denver Broncos had a brilliant pass-rush duo in Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil before a fax machine snafu kicked Elvis out of the building. - Not long thereafter, the Broncos brought in DeMarcus Ware and the team had a fearsome duo once again. After Ware’s retirement, Bradley Chubb and Von Miller combined to total 26.5 sacks in their first season together, but they never came close to repeating that total due to various injuries. - Miller’s gone now and Chubb is healthy for the first time in a while. New pass-rush teammate Randy Gregory aims to team up with Chubb to give Denver another dynamic duo off the edge. - “I’ve been a big fan of Bradley since he came out of college,” Gregory said during his introductory press conference last week. “I’ve always told people that I’m a fan and a spectator before I’m a player. I’ve always been a big fan, a student of the game. I remember him coming out of college. I always watched guys coming out of college in my position. - “It’s kind of cool to see me being able to play opposite of him. I think really highly of him. We actually talked already and can’t wait to see him in person and get to work with him. Really think he’s a good player and he’s going to make a big splash for us this year, hopefully, with me also.” - Chubb had an injury-riddled season last year, playing in just seven games and failing to record a sack. Broncos fans can only hope for a more productive season in 2022 now that Chubb’s healthy again and teaming up with another dangerous pass rusher. - Follow the Broncos Wire Podcast: - Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Google Podcasts - - - List - - Randy Gregory signing: Cowboys fan provides Dallas perspective for Broncos fans - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Broncos Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Broncos Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
