Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain and running back Javonte Williams have been named to the Professional Football Writers of America’s 2021 All-Rookie Team, the PFWA announced on Tuesday. - Surtain is joined in the secondary by fellow cornerback Greg Newsome (Cleveland Browns) and Williams is joined in the backfield by Najee Harris (Pittsburgh Steelers) on PFWA’s All-Rookie team. Surtain and Williams also made NFL.com’s All-Rookie Team earlier this month. - Surtain was selected by the Broncos in the first round of last year’s draft out of Alabama. He went on to breakup 14 passes (second most by a rookie in franchise history) and intercepted four passes (third-most). Surtain also had a 70-yard pick-six. - Williams was picked by Denver in the second round of the 2021 draft.
