Kansas City Chiefs CB Chris Lammons has turned himself in to authorities in Las Vegas according to a new report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Lammons was wanted in connection with an assault that took place over Pro Bowl weekend involving New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara. - Lammons’ attorney, Ross Goodman, confirmed to the Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Katelyn Newberg that the 26-year-old cornerback surrendered himself for what was considered a “walk-through booking” at Clark County Detention Center on Thursday morning. That means Lammons went through the booking process but was released after posting bail. - According to the report, Lammons appeared before a judge and was arraigned on Thursday. He was charged with a felony count of battery resulting in substantial bodily harm, and a gross misdemeanor count of conspiracy to commit battery. He was not required to enter a plea at the arraignment. - “It appears to be an unplanned and spontaneous altercation based on my review of the reports,” Goodman told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. - Lammons, Kamara and two others are scheduled to appear in court again on March 16. - - List - - Breaking down Chiefs' picks in latest Draft Wire 3-round mock draft - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Chiefs Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Chiefs Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
