Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill was honored by his hometown on Saturday. - Hill was born in Pearson, Georgia, but went to Coffee High School in the nearby city of Douglas. There he played football and became a state record-holding track athlete. - On Saturday, Hill was invited back to town and honored for his accomplishments both on and off the field in what the city dubbed “Tyreek Hill Day.” A six-time Pro Bowler, All-Pro and Super Bowl champion, Hill spoke saw his high school jersey retired and Mayor Tony Paulk presented him with the Key to the City. - - Hundreds of community members showed up for the event. Hill spoke to the crowd, including student-athletes from Coffee High School, about his journey and the impact that high school had on him. It was an important part of his legacy.
