- - For the third consecutive week, the Kansas City Chiefs have a pregame injury that is leaving a player questionable before kickoff. The Chiefs announced that CB Rashad Fenton has been added to the injury report with a back injury and would be questionable to play in the wild-card round against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Fenton joins Orlando Brown Jr. (calf vs. Bengals) and Tyreek Hill (heel vs. Broncos) as the third player to suffer a pregame injury in consecutive weeks. We’ll soon find out if Fenton’s back injury is enough to keep him out of the game. We are adding CB Rashad Fenton to the injury report. He actually missed the first matchup against the Steelers in Week 16 as he was on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, so this won’t be a monumental loss for the team. It is a hit to their cornerback depth, though. Mike Hughes and Deandre Baker are likely the beneficiaries of this injury and will see an increased workload against the Steelers as a result. It all depends on whether Fenton will be able to play, though. We’ll keep you posted on Fenton’s status once the game kicks off. Update: Fenton will be inactive for the wild-card round.
