Kansas City Chiefs fans have been blessed with another postseason victory. There once existed a time where even making the postseason was considered a win for this fanbase and where getting a single win would have been a cathartic release of decades of postseason frustration. Since Patrick Mahomes took over as starting quarterback in 2018, the Chiefs have won seven playoff games. In the 50 years prior, the franchise has only ever won nine playoff games. In this week’s morning after column, we take a look at the correlation between fun on the field and the Chiefs winning postseason games. We also talk about Jerick McKinnon’s breakout and the slow start against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
