In the first game back from the All-Star break, the Lakers use a 4th quarter surge to beat the Pacers, 105-100. It was all Malcolm Brogdon in the 1st half for the Pacers as he scored 23 of his 29 points in the 1st 24 minutes of the game. However, it was Kyle Kuzma who stepped up when it mattered as he scored 15 of his team-high 24 points in the 4th. He also recorded a double-double with 13 rebounds. LeBron James added a double-double of his own with 18 points and 10 assists. Before the game, it was announced that Anthony Davis would be re-evaluated in two weeks, meaning he will miss the next 9 games for the Lakers.
