In a rematch from last season's NBA Finals, the Heat came out hot to start the game and ride their 36-point first quarter as well as Jimmy Butler's 24 and Kendrick Nunn's 27 to victory, 96-94. Kyle Kuzma, who started in place of Anthony Davis, led all Lakers players with 23 points.
