- - - New England Patriots tackle Trent Brown has agreed to terms to re-sign with the team, according to Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus. After testing free agency, including a meeting with the Seattle Seahawks, he and New England agreed to terms on a two-year contract. - Brown joined the Patriots at the beginning of the 2021 season in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders. When healthy, he started every game. He missed eight games with a nagging calf injury, but played well when he was on the field for New England. It seems he’s been at his best when playing for the Patriots. He had another one-year stint in 2018 when they also traded for him. - He entered the NFL in 2015 as a seventh-round draft pick and spent three years with the San Francisco 49ers.
