Bryan Cox, a former Jets linebacker and staffer, will coach with the Giants in 2022. - Cox was added to Brian Daboll’s staff earlier this week. He will be Big Blue’s assistant defensive line coach. - Cox held the same title with the Jets from 2006–2008 while serving under Eric Mangini. That was Cox’s first NFL coaching gig after a 12-year playing career with the Dolphins, Bears, Jets, Patriots and Saints. Cox played for Gang Green from 1998-2000 and wracked up 135 tackles, 14 TFL and 12 sacks. - He won Super Bowl XXXVI with New England. - Cox’s coaching career took him to Cleveland when Mangini became the Browns’ head coach.
