The regular season is in the books, which means it’s time to evaluate the overall body of work that each Jets rookie put together in 2021. Almost all of New York’s rookie class endured an up-and-down first season in the NFL, but some fared better than others in the consistency department. Zach Wilson made major strides in his development over the final month of the regular season, while Michael Carter and Elijah Moore were dynamic weapons when they were on the field. Alijah Vera-Tucker was also a force in the trenches, giving the Jets reason to believe they have their left guard of the future. There is plenty of hope for the future at One Jets Drive with this year’s group of rookies leading the charge. Joe Douglas’ 2020 draft class was underwhelming, but he hit a home run with his 2021 class. That could be key as New York continues its attempt to climb out of the AFC East cellar. So, where do Gang Green’s rookies stand with 2021 in the rearview? Let’s take a look at Jets Wire’s final rookie power rankings of the year.
