Oregon’s standout pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux has a chance to go first overall in the NFL draft this year after dominating for the Ducks the last three years. The Los Angeles Rams obviously won’t have a chance to draft him with their first pick not coming until the third round, but he isn’t sure he’d want to play for them anyway. - Despite being from Los Angeles and growing up a Rams fan, Thibodeaux said on ProFootballTalk Live that he doesn’t know if he’d want to play in L.A. because of the taxes. - “Well, I don’t know if I actually want to play for the Rams because of tax purposes but until I get drafted, I’m a Rams fan,” he said. - Of course, Thibodeaux is rooting for the Rams in Super Bowl LVI, pulling for his hometown team against the Bengals. He’s also a big fan of Von Miller, picking him as his favorite player in the NFL and the guy he watches to learn from. - “I always say Von Miller, obviously, because he’s the guru of technique, but there are a lot of guys that are killing it,” he said. - Thibodeaux won’t get a chance to play for the Rams for at least a few years, but with the way they trade their draft picks, maybe he’ll be someone they target down the road like they did with Dante Fowler Jr. and Miller. - - List - - Looking at Super Bowl betting trends ahead of Rams vs. Bengals - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Rams Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Rams Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
