Jalen Ramsey against Ja’Marr Chase was the headline matchup in Super Bowl LVI, and it certainly delivered. Ramsey lined up across from Chase a bunch, covering the star rookie throughout the game. - Chase got the better of Ramsey on a few plays, including a 46-yarder deep down the right sideline where the rookie made a one-handed grab, but Ramsey’s coverage was overall pretty good. - You can see that in this film cut-up of just about every rep where Ramsey covered Chase. There weren’t a ton of opportunities for Chase to get the ball, but he did beat Ramsey on the deep shot and a quick hitch in the fourth quarter where the All-Pro corner tried to jump the route. - - Pretty much every rep between Ja'Marr vs Jalen pic.twitter.com/Earl3KPsdO - — Billy M (@BillyM_91) February 14, 2022 - - - According to Pro Football Focus, Chase caught two of his five targets for 63 yards against Ramsey.
