- - - The Los Angeles Rams made a big move at wide receiver on Thursday, agreeing to a three-year deal with Allen Robinson. It was a shocking addition given the team’s depth at wide receiver, but there could be another move coming – one that will surely upset fans. - According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Robert Woods is a “prime trade candidate” now and teams are already calling the Rams about a deal. Woods is coming off a torn ACL, but is expected to be ready by training camp. - — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 18, 2022 - - - Woods, 30, is coming off a torn ACL, but he’s expected to be ready by training camp. He said last month that he expects to be cleared by minicamp in June, but he’s going to take his time with the rehab process and ensure that he’s fully healthy before hitting the field. - Woods is an enticing trade candidate, being a do-it-all receiver on a modest contract for any team that acquires him. There are a handful of teams that would make sense, too, including the Vikings, Packers, Bears and the Lions. - By trading Woods before June 1, the Rams would get a net savings of $7.1 million. A trade post-June 1 would give them a savings of $13.5 million, which would just about cover Robinson’s contract for 2022. - - List - - 6 takeaways from Rams' deal with WR Allen Robinson - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Rams Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Rams Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
