As soon as the Seattle Seahawks shockingly cut Bobby Wagner, just about every Los Angeles Rams fan called on Les Snead to sign the All-Pro linebacker. Given the Rams’ need for help at inside linebacker, Wagner would be a logical fit in Los Angeles, which is actually where he’s from. - The Rams haven’t signed Wagner yet, but they’ve looked into the possibility of doing so. General manager Les Snead told reporters Tuesday that the Rams have talked about signing Wagner and watched film with defensive coaches to determine whether he’d be a fit with them. - - Les Snead admitted they “talked about” Bobby Wagner, and met with defensive staff to break down film and see if he would be a fit for the #LARams - — Michael J. The Rams currently have about $8.8 million in cap space available, which is probably enough to sign Wagner, but they also need to keep room for their draft class and other free agents such as Odell Beckham Jr. and Dont’e Deayon, if they plan to bring them back. - Wagner would immediately make the Rams better on defense, starting alongside Ernest Jones.
