It was a night of firsts as the Rams and Cardinals capped off wild-card weekend on Monday night. It was the first-ever postseason game at SoFi Stadium, the first playoff game on Monday Night Football and the first playoff victory of Matthew Stafford’s career. - The Rams blew out the Cardinals, 34-11, in the wild-card round on Monday night, punching their ticket to the divisional round, where they’ll meet the Buccaneers. Stafford only had to complete 13 passes and Cooper Kupp managed just 61 yards, but the defense played its best game of the season and Odell Beckham Jr. made several big plays for Los Angeles. - Cam Akers also stepped up with a 95-yard performance on 18 total touches, while David Long Jr. scored a bizarre touchdown that turned out to be the shortest pick-six in postseason history. - If you missed any of the action from the Rams’ 23-point win, check out the highlights below and relive their easy victory to open the playoffs. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Rams Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Rams Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
