For the first time in 22 years, Tom Brady is heading into the offseason as something other than an active NFL player. - Even at 44 years old, Brady put up some of the best numbers of his entire legendary career for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, leading the NFL in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. - Now that he’s leaving the game, people are already wondering if the GOAT might eventually return to the game. - On his weekly “Let’s Go!” podcast with Jim Gray, Brady addressed that sentiment Monday night. - “You never say never,” Brady said (via Rick Stroud, Tampa Bay Times). “At the same time, I know that … I feel very good about my decision.” - “I don’t know how I’ll feel six months from now,” Brady continued (via Stroud). “It could change, it most likely won’t. I try to make the best possible decision I can in the moment, which I did this last week. And again, I think it’s not looking to reverse course; I’m definitely not looking to do that.” - It’s highly unlikely that Brady ever returns to the gridiron, but for Bucs fans who are still hoping Brady hasn’t played his last snap in Tampa Bay, that answer will be more than enough to keep that slim hope alive. - - List - - The most ridiculous stats from Tom Brady's legendary NFL career - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Bucs Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Bucs Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
