When Mike Evans launched a football into the stands at Raymond James Stadium after his 55-yard touchdown reception in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, he didn’t know it would be last touchdown pass of Tom Brady’s legendary career. - That it was, as Brady announced his retirement not long after the Bucs were bounced from the postseason with a heart-breaking loss to the Los Angeles Rams that day. - Now, the fan who ended up with the ball is about to make the most of it, putting the ball up for auction (per ESPN): - “Everybody was screaming, and I’m just standing there, clapping, and the ball hits me pretty much in the chest,” the seller said. “I tucked it in like I was a running back, because I was sure I was going to get tackled by four or five different people to grab the ball, but that never happened.
