One year ago, it was unthinkable that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray would be mentioned as a possible trade candidate. However, after a brutal ending to a once-promising season followed by passive-aggressive finger-pointing between Murray and the team, here we are discussing the 2019 No. 1 overall pick as a possible trade candidate. - No, the Cardinals have not made Murray available via trade. And, it’s doubtful that will happen this offseason. After all, Murray led Arizona to a 7-0 record and looked like an MVP candidate during the first half of the 2021 season. - Unfortunately for Murray, injuries struck, and he missed three games. When he returned, he wasn’t as sharp, and neither were his teammates, as the Cardinals lost four of their final five games. Then, there was that miserable performance in the playoff loss to the Rams where it seems like the wheels fell off. - The Washington Commanders desperately need a quarterback.
