Anders Eriksson is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player who played as a defenseman. He began his career in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) with VIK Västerås HK in 1991. He played for the team for two seasons before being drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.

Eriksson made his NHL debut with the Red Wings in the 1995-96 season and played with the team for four seasons. During his time with the Red Wings, he won the Stanley Cup twice in 1997 and 1998. He was then traded to the Chicago Blackhawks in 1999, where he played for two seasons before being traded to the Florida Panthers in 2001.

Eriksson played for the Panthers for one season before being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2002. He played with the Maple Leafs for one season before being traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2003. He played with the Blue Jackets for two seasons before being traded back to the Maple Leafs in 2005.

Eriksson then played for the Calgary Flames in the 2006-07 season before returning to Sweden to play for HV71 in the SHL for two seasons. He then returned to the NHL to play for the Detroit Red Wings in the 2009-10 season, where he played in 8 games before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks, where he played in 6 games before retiring from professional hockey.

Throughout his career, Eriksson played in a total of 571 NHL games, scoring 24 goals and 107 assists for a total of 131 points. He also played in 44 playoff games, scoring 2 goals and 7 assists for a total of 9 points. Eriksson was known for his defensive skills and his ability to play a physical game.

After retiring from professional hockey, Eriksson returned to Sweden and began coaching youth hockey. He also worked as a scout for the NHL's Arizona Coyotes. In 2019, he was named the head coach of VIK Västerås HK, the same team where he began his professional career.
