Anthony Gose is a former professional baseball player who played in the Major Leagues for several teams. He was born on August 10, 1990, in Bellflower, California, and attended Bellflower High School. Gose was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the second round of the 2008 MLB draft.

Gose began his professional career as an outfielder in the Phillies' minor league system. He quickly established himself as a top prospect, and in 2010, he was traded to the Houston Astros. Gose continued to impress in the Astros' minor league system, and in 2011, he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays.

Gose made his Major League debut with the Blue Jays in 2012. He played in 56 games that season, batting .223 with five home runs and 11 stolen bases. Gose spent the next few seasons bouncing between the Major Leagues and the minor leagues, playing for the Blue Jays and the Detroit Tigers.

In 2015, Gose had his best season in the Major Leagues. He played in 140 games for the Tigers, batting .254 with five home runs and 23 stolen bases. Gose's speed and defensive abilities made him a valuable asset to the Tigers, and he was a regular in their outfield.

However, Gose's career took a turn in 2016. He struggled at the plate, batting just .209 in 30 games for the Tigers. In July of that year, Gose was demoted to the minor leagues. He continued to struggle in the minors, and in 2017, he was released by the Tigers.

Gose's baseball career took a surprising turn in 2017 when he decided to become a pitcher. He signed a minor league contract with the Texas Rangers and began working on his pitching skills. Gose spent the next few years in the minor leagues, working on his craft and trying to make it back to the Major Leagues.

In 2020, Gose signed a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians. He continued to work on his pitching skills, and in 2021, he finally made it back to the Major Leagues as a pitcher. Gose appeared in 14 games for the Indians, pitching 15 innings and recording a 4.80 ERA.

Despite his success as a pitcher, Gose's baseball career came to an end in 2021. He was designated for assignment by the Indians in August and became a free agent at the end of the season. Gose's career in baseball was marked by his versatility and his willingness to adapt to new challenges. While he may not have had the most glamorous career, Gose's determination and work ethic made him a respected player in the game.
